The folks at Sentai Filmworks have added yet another title to their Fall 2016 anime lineup, this time it is the biking series Long Riders!
Long Riders! will be available through various digital outlets. In fact, it has already started airing since October 8th. The show is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (prior work being Monster Musume), written by Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!), and is animated by studio Actas. The anime series is based on the manga of the same name. Long Riders! first debuted in 2012, has 7 volumes published so far, and is currently still running¹.
Since it is Sentai Filmworks, they will also release this on home video after it finishes airing.
Sentai Filmworks describes the series as:
For first-year college student Ami Kurata, it was love at first sight when she laid her eyes on a folding bike. She saves up money to buy one of her own, then pedals right into the exciting world of long-distance bicycling. After forming a cycling team on campus, Ami and her four new bike mates prepare for the ride of their lives in an upcoming long-distance race.
