In a (not terribly surprising) announcement today, came the news that season two of the anime series Berserk is a go. This past season of the rebooted anime show has only had 12 episodes that concluded today.
Despite all the controversy over the animation style, the series will be continuing on in the Spring 2017 anime season. The current animated series is a continuation of the original anime that aired back in 1997. All of which is based upon the Berserk manga that originally debuted in 1989 (and is still running to this day) and is written from the mind of Kentaro Miura. Knowing that Berserk will continue on is great news, as the series certainly deserves it.
